I joined here for a three month trial. I found the facilities to be excellent and general pool staff attentive. However, I found the charge to be almost twice the price of other pools, the sales staff to be passive agressive and unaccommodating and constantly felt liek they were trying to get another 20 euro out of me without any sense of value for this money. I have seen many people arrive with their 'free guest pass' who find either on their arrival, or worse after they have availed of the facilities, that they have to pay 20 euro for their guest due to very small peint on the 'free guest pass'. Despite the very high charge, I considered joining until they refused to continue to give free access to my 3 year old son, which I had on teh trial, but rather wanted 20 euro extra a month, bringing the monthly charge to 147 euro. So their policy is to turn away people who are considering to sign-up for o membership which, at a minimum would be worth 1.5k euro, plus the rest of my family, another potential three memberships, for the sake of 20 euro a month for a three year old. The insanity of this as a method of making money is actually what stopped me from joining. I am happy to pay for something that I value, but this small minded money grabbing doesn't sit well with me. I wonder if their business model is based on snobbery rather than profit?
