Review

You will find the pool somewhere between Blackrock and Dun Loghaire. As there are no street numbers in Dublin, it is not easy to find. Don't confuse the Church - which is also on Newpark Avenue - with a swimming pool (even if it looks like that).
In front of Newpark Sport Center, there is no traffic light nor zebra within 50m and it is in the mittle of a bend. If you made your way alife into the Center, you will cross an area that is mainly under construction and not very beautiful. But don't doubt, you are right! 
There is one thing about Dublin sport centers. You will need a locker to close up your stuff. Generally, sport centers will sell you one at reception for 5 Euro. Same thing for Newpark (quite expensive fee).
The whole buidling is quite dirty. Plaster goes off, mildew in the showers, wet "hole in the ground" toilets for men (you don't know if it's water or something else you are stepping in), heavy dust in the air conditioning system and no private showers. In the pool area you can distinguish some dirt on the bottom and in the water. Bad impression all in all.
The pool is only 25m and partly taken over by little children and their parents. On "public swimming" days, don't expect to swim some longueurs. This should be better on days for "adults only".
