Temple Street Hospital are proud to announce the 1st Mountain Bike Challenge taking place in the French and Swiss Alpine region of Portes du Soleil. On 28th of June – 2nd July


We are looking for a select group of people to join us in taking part weather you are a complete novice or an expert mountain biker all levels are welcome. It’s a great way of introducing someone you know into the exhilarating world of mountain biking while there are the infamous black runs that can be a serious challenge to any pro downhillers.

Here’s the deal.......
Each person must raise €2000 for each prior to the event for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
There will be various group events held to help everyone raise funds.
The €2000 will cover all aspects of the trip including travel and transfers food accommodation insurance and entry fees for the Pass Portes du Soleil festival and all mountain lifts.

We need to move fast!
All applications for the event passes must be in by 14th February!!!
So a fast decision is needed.

Flying out to Geneva on Thursday 28th of June and returning on Monday 2nd of July.

There will be training provided for all levels prior to travelling.

An MTB trek in both France and Switzerland in the Portes du Soleil domain, the Pass'Portes is a mixture of impressive and unforgettable moments, shared sporting memories and a load of laughs…it has to be done (or redone).
9th edition the Friday 29th June, Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July 2012.
Registrations opens the Wednesday 15th February at 9.00 AM GMT. (10AM Paris hour)
The MTB Pass'Portes du Soleil is a mountain trek ranging from 1000 to 2250m in altitude, in both France and Switzerland, where you can discover the fabulous Portes du Soleil MTB terrain and its grandiose scenery.

The 80 km circuit use 15th lifts. Different variations will be organized for mountain bikers wishing to cycle up hill. The trek takes one day, and participants can choose whether to ride it on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

It’s for a great, great cause and Temple Street will be purchasing a particular type of much needed equipment for the kids exclusively with the money raised from this challenge!
