Even though, temperatures hardly allow summer swimming in Ireland, it is technically possible to dive in the Irish Sea. You can expect temperatures at around 14 - 15 °C in August.
A popular access to the "beach" can be found near Dun Loghaire, at Dublin beach and on Bull Island.
