Dublin - Weather
Well, Dublin is all about weather. It infuences people a lot, especially those not used to Nordic climate. Dublin is generally wet, windy and never really cold nor warm. No snow but no sunburn neither.
Even though locals insist that summers used to be warmer and more sunny, years 2007 and 2008 might announce a change in local climate. Those last years, summers have been especially wet and cold. In Dublin only one thing is for sure: the next rain is certain to come! Be sure to never leave the house without an umbrella.
By the way, it is interesting to see how locals dress up under those circumstances. You will be surprised how many people won't actually dress accordingly: high heels, no umbrellas, no waterproof clothing, nothing. It seems almost as if Dubliners perform a form of counterculture against nature: high heels to protest and stand against the never ending rain (poetic interpretation).
