Casablanca is not the first touristic destination in Morocco. Far beyond Marrakech, Agadir or Essaouira, Casablanca has nonetheless beaches, cafes, museums, a genuine history, bars, clubs, and all one could need to spend some good time.

The reputation of gigantic port has not been the biggest help in terms of getting tourists to Casablanca. However, the commercial port has been destroyed in 2005. Big boats are now sailing up to Tanger and TangerMed. Casablanca is now building a nice marina to replace the port, and opens to the seafront.

If you wish to visit Casablanca, take some time to wander in the old ART DECO quarter, then in the Parc de la Ligue Arabe, and all the way to the Sacre Coeur Church.
